Shows of Kangana Ranaut starrer Dhaakad CANCELLED due to ZERO audience in several cinemas; replaced with that of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2
ਬਾਲੀਵੁੱਡ ਅਦਾਕਾਰਾ ਕੰਗਨਾ ਰਣੌਤ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ‘ਧਾਕੜ’ ਬਾਕਸ ਆਫਿਸ ’ਤੇ ਬੁਰੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਫਲਾਪ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ। ਕੰਗਨਾ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਓਪਨਿੰਗ ਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਹੀ ਕੁਝ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਕਮਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਦਿਖਾ ਸਕੀ ਤੇ ਹੁਣ ਤਕ ਬਾਕਸ ਆਫਿਸ ’ਤੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਕ ਪਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਜੱਦੋ-ਜਹਿਦ ਕਰ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ।
ਕੰਗਨਾ ਰਣੌਤ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ‘ਧਾਕੜ’ ਦੀ ਟੱਕਰ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਆਰੀਅਨ ਦੀ ‘ਭੂਲ ਭੁਲੱਈਆ 2’ ਨਾਲ ਸੀ। ਜਿਥੇ ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਦਿਨ 14 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੀ ਬੰਪਰ ਓਪਨਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ, ਉਥੇ ਕੰਗਨਾ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸਿਰਫ 1.25 ਕਰੋੜ ਰੁਪਏ ’ਤੇ ਹੀ ਸਿਮਟ ਗਈ। ਇੰਨਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ, ਵੀਕੈਂਡ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਕੰਗਨਾ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰਨ ’ਚ ਨਾਕਾਮ ਰਹੀ।
ਕਾਰਤਿਕ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੇ ਜਿਥੇ 5 ਦਿਨਾਂ ’ਚ 75 ਕਰੋੜ ਦਾ ਅੰਕੜਾ ਪਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ, ਉਥੇ ਕੰਗਨਾ ਦੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਮੁਸ਼ਕਿਲ ਨਾਲ 5 ਕਰੋੜ ਦੇ ਨਜ਼ਦੀਕ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਰਹੀ ਹੈ। ਹਾਲਾਂਕਿ ਉਮੀਦ ਜਤਾਈ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਤੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਠੀਕ-ਠਾਕ ਬਿਜ਼ਨੈੱਸ ਕਰੇਗੀ ਪਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋਇਆ।
Kangana says the vilest of things and invites hate against minorities only because she wants to appeal to the bhakt mandali so that her films succeed. Am sorry but I don’t see anything wrong with those who are mocking her now because clearly even Bhakts aren’t watching her!

ਵੀਕੈਂਡ ’ਤੇ ਵੀ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਦੀ ਹਾਲਤ ਖਰਾਬ ਹੀ ਰਹੀ। ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਨੇ 1.05 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਸਿਰਫ 98 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ। ਚੌਥੇ ਦਿਨ ਫ਼ਿਲਮ ਸਿਰਫ 30 ਲੱਖ ਰੁਪਏ ਦੀ ਕਮਾਈ ਕਰ ਸਕੀ।
The Kangana Ranaut-starrer Dhaakad was released in cinemas on May 20. The trailer promised a stylish action thriller and attempted to bring something new to the table. Sadly, the buzz for the film was negligible. Moreover, it received an ‘A’ rating and also, and it clashed with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, starring Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu. The comic thriller generated tremendous excitement and was the first choice for moviegoers. As a result, Dhaakad’s poor opening was expected. The hope was that it’ll grow once the word of mouth would start trickling in.
