महाराष्ट्र के सोलापुर में एक भाजपा नेता का वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है। इस वीडियो में भाजपा नेता एक महिला के साथ बेडरूम में दिख रहे हैं। वीडियो किसी घर या होटल के कमरे का है। महिला उन पर धोखा देने का आरोप लगा रही है। इस बीच भाजपा नेता महिला से कैमरा छीन लेते हैं। बताया जा रहा है, वीडियो में दिख रहा व्यक्ति भाजपा की सोलापुर जिला कार्यकारिणी का अध्यक्ष श्रीकांत देशमुख है।
वीडियो वायरल होने के बाद श्रीकांत देशमुख ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। उन्होंने प्रदेश अध्यक्ष को अपना इस्तीफा सौंपा है। हालांकि, उन्होंने इसके पीछे कोई वजह नहीं बताई है। इस वीडियो के वायरल होने के कुछ दिन पहले श्रीकांत देशमुख ने एक महिला के खिलाफ हनीट्रैप का मामला दर्ज कराया था। शिकायत के मुताबिक, महिला उन्हें ब्लैकमेल कर दो करोड़ रुपये की मांग कर रही है।
The resignation was accepted by Maharashtra BJP president Chandrakantdada Patil. The post has now reportedly been handed over to Vikram Deshmukh on a temporary basis. Notably, Vikram is the BJP Solapur city district president.Meanwhile, Mumbai Police registered a First Information Report (FIR) under the charge of extortion against the woman seen in the video. The case was registered on a complaint lodged by Deshmukh two days back, reported PTI. Shrikant had stated that he was “honey-trapped” by the 32-year-old woman.
Police have booked the woman under section 384 (punishment for extortion) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). However, no arrest is made so far. In the video, the woman could be seen saying that the former Solapur Rural district BJP president had an affair with her. She further alleged that Shrikant cheated on her as he also had a relation with another woman.
